Wasgamuwa Safari Sri lanka is a 3 double roomed Eco friendly Safari Holiday Bungalow.
It is an ideal place to relax, enjoy and experience the Nature, Ecosystems and of course, -the wildlife -especially herds of Elephants which is unique to Wasgamuwa.
The Safari Bungalow has wide verandahs with both indoor and semi open type sleeping facilities to provide accommodation to family and corporate holiday makers to Wasgamuwa National Wildlife Park.
The Bungalow is located in a serene natural setting bordering the main access road to the park and in close proximity to the Park Entrance. (In fact the Park Gate can be seen from the Bungalow).
The Bungalow has facilities to accommodate around 20 visitors at a time.
Food will be served on request at the 'Food Hut'or at the Bungalow.
If desired, visitors can bring the provisions for the meals of their choice.
Cooks and cooking facilities are available at the Bungalow.
Wasgomuwa National Park is famous as an elephant habitat. These elephants, the population of which is about 200-250 are known to be less habituated to people and it is the unique feature in Wasgamuwa.It is certainly the best place in Sri Lanka to see and experience the 'Wild Elephants'.
You can visitThe 'Riverstern'-one of the most admiareble places that the nature has created- could be combined either on your way to Wasgamuwa or a day trip could be arranged from the bungalow.
Bird watching,Cycling, Adventure/Nature Walks and Visits to ancient places are some of the other activities you can engage in during your holiday at Wasgamuwa. Rental rates:
Minimum Charge:Rs.5000/= per day up to 5pax.
Rs. 7500 per day from 6-10 pax
Rs. 8500 per day from 11-15 pax
Rs. 10000 per day from 16-20 pax
Above charges are for the full bungalow.
However, if a single room is needed,it will be Rs. 2000/= per day.
